ABOUT US
We are Wia and Manu, the French-Finnish couple behind MUKI, a small coffee roastery based in Gers, in the southwest of France.
Before settling here, we spent many years in Helsinki, surrounded by coffee and music. Wia ran KUUMA with her sister, one of Helsinki's pioneering specialty coffee shops, which became a local institution over more than a decade. Meanwhile, Manu spent his years recording albums and touring with the French-Finnish duo Eva + Manu.
When we moved to Gers, we missed the quality of coffee we had grown used to in Finland. So we decided to bring a little of that coffee culture with us.
And that's how we started MUKI.

To help specialty coffee culture grow in Gers.
We want to make high-quality specialty coffee more accessible, whether at home, in cafés or in restaurants.
OUR VISION
It all starts with green coffee.
We take great care in selecting our green coffee beans. For us, the quality of the raw ingredient is the foundation of a great cup.
We roast in small batches, taking a gentle approach that allows each coffee to express its own character. Nothing overdone, nothing complicated. Just smooth, balanced and flavourful coffees, equally enjoyable as espresso or filter.

We want to grow MUKI at our own pace, work with people who share our appreciation for good products, and contribute in our own way to the development of specialty coffee culture in our new region.
